Tyler Cameron has returned to the Netherlands, but this time, the circumstances are a bit different (it was one of the spots Hannah went to with her final seven men). The 26-year-old was photographed walking arm-in-arm with Gigi Hadid at her grandmother Ans van den Herik’s funeral in Rotterdam.
Photos obtained by TMZ show Gigi and Tyler next to each other while Gigi’s brother Anwar Hadid strolls alongside his girlfriend, singer Dua Lipa. Gigi and Anwar’s sister, fellow model Bella Hadid, walks in front of them.
Van den Herik was the mother of Gigi, Anwar and Bella’s mom, Yolanda Hadid.
Gigi announced the sad news about her grandmother on Instagram on August 31. She posted series of pictures with Ans and wrote about what her “Oma” meant to her. “OUR QUEEN ANGEL fought cancer six times in her life with courage, strength, and grace while being the greatest mother and grandmother,” Gigi reminisced. “She is an honorable guide we will carry with us forever. We love you more than words, our beautiful wonderful Oma.”
The Hadid women all made similar sartorial decisions, donning straight black midi dresses. Bella and Gigi had on matching black scarves. Dua Lipa wore a long black coat with gold buttons, while Tyler wore black suit pants, a black blazer, and a white shirt with no tie (this specific suit didn’t look as tight as some of his others).
It’s no secret now that Gigi and Tyler have been seeing each other for about a month, ever since “The Bachelorette” ended. They’ve been seen around New York City together plenty of times and reportedly showed some PDA at an MTV VMAs after-party.
The trip to Rotterdam is not their first out-of-town sojourn, either. They traveled to upstate New York with a group of their friends in the middle of August. Neither Gigi nor Tyler has spoken out about their relationship yet, but Hannah Brown has made a few references to it.
The photographs of Gigi and Tyler walking together at the sad family gathering comes just one day after Tyler defended Hannah on Twitter. The Jupiter, Florida, native wrote a series of tweets that praised her and explained why she “deserves no shade.”
He wrote, “Someone DM’d me something that I liked a comment that said I was throwing shade at HB and I must say that is a complete accident. For 1 I am very selective for what I like. 2nd, that girl deserves no shade and nothing but success. She empowers women and deserves all the accolades.”
A second tweet reads, “She empowers women and created so much conversation on how women should be treated. I am grateful for our time together and all that I learned from her. Made a joke about ‘clarity’ because that was such a hot topic from the show. Will always support HB and her family.”
Hannah, too, just wants the best for Tyler. She told “Entertainment Tonight” on September 4, “I wish him well.” The former Bachelorette is now putting her focus on “Dancing with the Stars.” She shared, “I’m moving forward.”
