Hannah Brown's Reaction to Watching 'The Bachelorette' With Her Parents Is Way Too Relatable
Do you find it cringe-worthy to watch old videos of yourself? It’s all too easy to think, “Why does my hair look like that?” or “Does my voice really sound like that?”
Imagine being Hannah Brown. Bad hair days or realizing you shouldn’t be an NPR host are nothing compared to attempting to find love on national television. You go on dates, make out with people, make out some more, share laughs and shed tears, travel all over the world, and in the end, hopefully find love. Now picture doing all of this while sitting next to your parents. #Awkward.
I wish I could tweet the things coming out of my family’s mouth right now. lolz.

During her week of dates in the Netherlands, the 24-year-old encouraged all of her men to be vulnerable with her. Hannah hoped those types of conversations could lead to some revelations in her various relationships.
She had one such breakthrough with Tyler during their one-on-one date. At dinner, Tyler explained he had a “hard time” opening up because his parents went through a bad divorce after his dad “lost everything” in the 2009 financial crisis. Hannah sympathized and talked about her own personal experiences. Although her mom and dad are still together, she said, “The way they communicate is not the way I want to communicate in a marriage.”
Hannah, who usually live-tweets episodes, had an especially hard time on July 1 because she watched it with her parents.
“When you roast your parent’s communication skills sitting right next to them,” she tweeted with a gif of Zooey Deschanel from “New Girl.”

Even Hannah’s parents threw her some shade during that segment with the bologna. She wrote, "my parents are giving me the look you are all giving me right now.” However, that tweet could have referred to a number of moments that episode.
Hannah later quipped, “when mom starts off with ‘I don’t want to make you feel bad but...’ it’s not good.”
Mother knows best, right?

She finished her tweets off with, “And I’ll be in my hole. bye.”
At the end of the day, though, watching your own TV show with your parents might be better than having lunch meat thrown into your lap.
RT if you're done with this bologna😅 #TheBachelorette pic.twitter.com/kR6tvBkC1K

As Hannah would say, “God bless this mess.” Let’s just hope there’s no platter of bologna anywhere in the vicinity.
