Hannah Brown Confirms She and Jed Wyatt Are Over on 'The Bachelorette' Finale
Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette” did not have the fairy tale ending she was hoping for. Even “Fairy God Father” Chris Harrison threw a decent amount of shade at the Nashville-based musician.
After weeks of speculation, Hannah confirmed that she and Jed are no longer together. Their discussion on stage was calm, amicable, and clearly tense.
She told Jed, “What you did was not right and not good, but I did fall in love with you and I know that that person is in there. I just hope that from this you will be honest and learn and grow into the man that I believe you can be for whoever in your future.”
Although Jed said he still “feels the same as the day I got down on one knee,” Hannah stuck to her guts and told him that her “feelings have changed.”
Hannah said later, “When that trust was broken, my feelings really just were broke with that. I don’t love you like that anymore. It’s not something to clap about. It’s sad. I know you’ve hurt me and I’m not trying to hurt you. No one needs to start a relationship on lies. I want to feel confident in my forever.”
From 30 men on Night 1 at Bachelor Mansion until now, Hannah’s empowerment transformation has been abundantly clear. She feels it, too. Despite the entire experience being “heartbreaking,” Hannah’s biggest takeaway is how strong she’s become.
She asserted to Chris Harrison, “I realized that I don’t need a husband. I want one but I don’t need one. I’m really proud of the woman I’ve become through this because I am hella strong.”
That you are, Hannah Beast!
