Andi Dorfman's NYC Marathon Training Is the Ultimate Fitness Motivation
Andi Dorfman knows how to give Bachelor Nation a big boost of fitness inspiration.
The Season 10 Bachelorette is running the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 3, and she’s been documenting her training for months. Andi helped inspire hundreds of fellow runners with her #Andorfins movement. She reposts Instagram photos and videos with the hashtag, and it exemplifies that a little motivation can go a long way. #Andorfins even lent itself to an eponymous clothing line.
On Thursday, Andi posted a photo of herself with two thumbs up standing in front of the Hudson River. She captioned it, “Last run before THE run. I’ve done everything I can to prepare myself, I’ve pushed my body beyond what I thought was possible, continued despite the pain, and I owe it all to the #andorfins who keep me motivated, grateful and most of all inspired.”
She added. “I don’t know how it’ll turn out but I hope I can make y’all half as proud as you’ve made me! Leggggs go! Xo”

Andi’s Instagram feed has been replete with running photos as of late. On October 6, for instance, she posted an image of herself running in Central Park. She described it, “20 down, 6.2 to go ... Sorry legs, I know you hate me right now 🏃🏻♀️ #andorfins #nycmarathon”
According to Andi, she wasn’t always a big runner. On June 5, National Running Day, she explained that she appreciates the form of exercise because “there’s something about getting out there, breathing fresh air, seeing different parts of a town/city and feeling that sense of accomplishment after every run, good or bad, long or short, easy or hard.”
Her Instagram updates and posts show that running isn’t always a glorious sport. She captioned one video of herself doing hill training in Central Park: “The worst run ever is still better than no run at all.”
The former Bachelorette won’t be the only Bachelor Nation member running the 26.2-mile race. Tyler Cameron has also been sharing updates about training for the big day. He recently ran the Chicago Marathon with his best friend Matt James, as well as Dustin Kendrick and Matteo Valles.
Shawn Booth has been yet another source of fitness inspiration. He’s competing in the NYC Marathon and has been posting about his own training, which once involved “pushing a dead van down the road immediately after a 12 mile run.”
He captioned a photo of him with the aforementioned dead van, “not many things I hate more than long distance running ... but at the same time there aren’t many things I love more than the feeling of completing a hard long run. Anyone else have that same love/hate relationship?!”

The TCS NYC Marathon is the biggest marathon in the world, with more than 50,000 participants. The race involves running in all five boroughs of New York City — Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan — before finishing in Central Park.
Good luck to all the Bachelor Nation members — cast members and fans alike — running the big race, as well as everyone else!
