On Tuesday, Sean Lowe posted a photo of his son Samuel wearing his old football helmet, and it was (nearly) a perfect fit. Sure, Samuel has a few years to go to grow into the helmet, but he had a huge smile on his face as he donned Sean’s Kansas State University gear.

Sean captioned the adorable image, “The crazy thing about this picture is the helmet fits perfectly. Now we just need Jug Head’s body to catch up. Go Cats!”

Samuel has 15 more years until he can make his college football debut, so we’d better keep an eye on this one! Samuel’s baby brother Isaiah, 18 months, might be a tad young to try on the gear, but that doesn’t mean the sons haven’t been indoctrinated since birth to root for their dad’s alma mater.

In September 2018, Sean posted a photo of himself holding Isaiah, who’s clad in a Kansas State onesie that reads “Fan in Training.” Sean captioned it, “Little guy loves cheering on the Wildcats with his daddy. He said he wants to play quarterback for KSU when he’s older. Didn’t have the heart to tell him he has the body of a nose tackle.”

Sean is the ultimate jokester with his kids, especially on social media. He constantly has the quippiest captions and tweets about his family. For instance, on October 28, he tweeted, “Samuel refused to eat mashed potatoes at dinner tonight but had 3 helpings of Kale and now I’m certain Catherine cheated on me approximately four years ago.”

On November 2, he posted a picture of Catherine and their boys enjoying a chilly boat ride on a lake. He wrote, “It was a pleasant forty-five degrees out on the boat today and my two sons refused to get in the water and kids are really soft in 2019.”

Also on Tuesday, Catherine posted side-by-side images of her baby bump with Isaiah and her current bump. She wore the same outfit in both — black leggings and a black shirt — and captioned it, “Looks like I’m having another Isaiah... (left: Isaiah belly, right: Baby No.3)”

Sean and Catherine don’t know the sex of their third child yet, but they’re hoping it’s a girl. On November 3, Catherine threw herself a “girly” baby shower. She said in an Instagram Story video that day, “The reason why I’m throwing myself a pink baby shower is because the gender is currently ambiguous. If it turns out it’s a boy, I’m going to have to wait a very long time to have another girly party. So I’m doing obnoxious pink, girly, feminine, whatever, because I’ve never gotten to do anything girly.”

She repeatedly asserted that just because it was a pink party, “this is not a gender reveal.”
