How Bibiana Julian Prioritizes 'Self-Healing' in Her Daily Rituals
Wellness and self-care are at the crux of Bibiana Julian’s being.
The “Bachelor” alumna spent the better part of a year working on herself and a process of “self-healing” after a bad breakup and “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 6. Bibiana discussed her health routines and the mindset behind them on a new episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour.”
Bibiana explained she “took a couple months off” social media after Colton Underwood became the Season 23 Bachelor. During that time, she “dove into” her health and “cooking and reading a lot about being aligned.” She also focused on meditating and practicing yoga.
The self-care and healing also created space for more vulnerability on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 6, though her time on the show didn’t pan out like she’d hoped. “I’m glad that I went back this past season of Paradise, but it really did burn me emotionally,” she said.
Bibiana added, “I was an open, open soul entirely. When you do all this self-healing work and open your heart, you become more vulnerable and more susceptible to absorbing everything. You’re more emotional, so you have to be more selective about the people you’re surrounding yourself with and activities that you’re doing. I didn’t know it because I was doing all this self-healing work and had just come out of this breakup, but I was just an open book.”

The 32-year-old told Rachel and Krystal more about her wellness routine, and how a change in her diet has been “crucial.” She explained, “Looking good and feeling good is important to me, but I realized after my breakup that I have Crohn’s disease, and it’s triggered by stress more than food. One of my biggest concerns was that I have so much anxiety, I need to take care of my body and make sure that the food and the nutrition that I put into my system is healing.”
Bibiana also emphasizes having a daily morning ritual. She said, “I’m a morning person. I have to be at work at 7 a.m., which doesn’t affect me other than not being able to work out at 7, but it’s okay because I like to wake up early. Waking up in the morning and not touching my phone — don’t go on Instagram, don’t look at text messages, leave your Do Not Disturb on, get up in the morning and do my routine.”
She shared how she begins her days: “I drink my water, have my probiotic, grind my coffee beans, and brew my coffee.” Most importantly, she says, not checking her phone for the first hour of the morning “sets my day entirely. If I have that time in the morning, I kill it.”

Bibiana recommends starting off with “baby steps” for those who want to adopt a morning ritual but feel overwhelmed by it all. She told the “Bachelor Happy Hour” co-hosts, “I might not do everything I wanted to do as part of my routine, but you’ll see how great it is to have that structure.”
