ABC Announces New Spin-Off Show ‘The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart’
Get ready to sing a new show’s praises, because ABC has announced a new show joining the “Bachelor” franchise family.
“The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart” combines the beloved show with the power of music in a new series set to premiere Monday, April 13, at 8 p.m. on ABC. According to a press release from the network, the show “unites two of the most emotionally powerful forces in human life: music and love, as 20 single men and women embark on an incredible journey to find love through music.”
“The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart” will feature men and women singing “well-known songs, both individually and as couples.” From there, they will “look to form attractions through the melodies, find and reveal their feelings and ultimately, fall in love.”
Unlike “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” but more in line with “Bachelor in Paradise” and “Bachelor Pad,” the 20 men and women will live together while “going on Bachelor-style dates that focus on music.” These couples “will be tested through musical challenges, including live performances judged by some of the biggest names in the music business.”
The release concludes, “Ultimately, the couples whose performances reveal their love and devotion to one another will continue to be given a chance to further their relationships until only one couple is left standing.”
“The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart” joins yet another spinoff announced a few months ago — “The Bachelor Live On Stage” tour. The show travels to 66 cities across the United States to help hometown Bachelors find their own chance at love in front of a large audience. “Audience members and hosts will guide the Bachelor in his journey to find love,” the show describes itself. “If the leading lady accepts the final rose, the night could end with the start of a beautiful romance.”
In November, Becca Kufrin announced she’ll be joining Ben Higgins on the road to co-host the show, which commences February 13 in Mesa, Arizona.

The Season 14 Bachelorette said in a statement at the time, “The Bachelor experience changed my life in the most amazing ways, so being able to visit cities around the country and allowing others to feel that unique energy, positivity, hope and love (fingers crossed) is something so truly special. Because of Bachelor Nation, I have shared myself and relationships, and all of the ups and downs, tears and smiles, heartbreak and happiness that came with it, and now it’s time for others to share theirs as we kick off this ‘journey’ together!”
Becca shared some additional details on an episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour,” telling Rachel Lindsay she and Ben even have some special choreography planned. “It’s going to be a wild ride,” she teased.
