On Thursday, Becca posted a note on her Instagram timeline that she had previously shared in her Story. The note reads, “I had a moment the other day that really changed my perspective on how I view my physical appearance. I was thinking no one has ever impacted me by being beautiful or having a perfect body. It might get my initial attention or even be inspiring, but it’s never been the reason I remembered them.”
She goes on, “I’m impacted by people for their kindness, their loyalty, their patience, their generosity, their vulnerability, etc. I’ve never said ‘she changed my life because she was pretty and skinny.’ We spend so much time worrying about the thing that means the least to people.”

Becca wrote in her caption that the response to the initial note in her Instagram Story was “really overwhelming in a beautiful way.” She shared, “I’m glad it resonated with so many of you and I wanted to post it here so that it can be a constant reminder.”
Positive reactions took over the comments section, with many people writing “so true!” and “I love this!”
Becca appeared on Seasons 19 and 20 of “The Bachelor.” She was the runner-up on Chris Soules’ season and, one year later, got sent home right before hometowns with Ben Higgins. She’s also the co-host of the two-time People’s Choice Awards-winning podcast “Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad.”
After briefly dating Robert Graham from Desiree Hartsock’s season of “The Bachelorette” and the first season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” she has kept her relationships private. Instead, she focuses on promoting self-confidence and self-love on social media. On New Year’s Eve, for instance, he wrote on Instagram, “Going into 2020 feeling so grateful and excited! Thankful for the wonderful people in my life. Thankful for you all. Thankful for what has happened and thankful for what’s to come! My prayer for you is that 2020 is your year. Remember that growth is uncomfortable, but necessary. You are so loved and you’re created for greatness! Love you all!”

In September, Becca encouraged her followers, “You’re worthy. Even if your pants don’t fit. Or you have a big pimple. Or you’re feeling like you’re struggling to keep your head above water in your job, relationships, friendships- you are worthy. Even if you win, even if you lose- you are worthy.”
