Seeing Double: Caila Quinn Posts Engagement Ring Next to Pic of… Engagement Ring!
Caila Quinn will be saying “I do” in the near future!
Her longtime boyfriend Nick Burrello popped the question earlier in January in Siesta Key, Florida. Nick posted pictures on Instagram after their engagement and captioned them, “My best friend, my adventure partner, my rock, my future wife.”
Nick and Caila’s big relationship news even warranted a short snippet in Us Weekly magazine. Caila uploaded a video on Instagram of their photo in the magazine and held her engagement ring up to the picture as a comparison. She captioned it, “Literally blown away picking up this week’s @usweekly in Time’s Square! ✨ Can’t wait you marry you @nickburrello.”

According to Us Weekly, he popped the question while they were in Florida to spend a weekend with both sets of parents. Nick told Caila he “wanted to do dinner, just the two of us” before heading to an Airbnb with their parents. He took her to the Ritz Carlton for a romantic, sunset dinner. Afterwards, they started slow-dancing and, “I’m swaying in his arms and then he gets on one knee and he asks me.”
On January 4, she posted a video of herself jumping on a bed with rose petals shaped in a heart strewn across it.

A few days later, she tweeted a boomerang of her leg kicking in the bathtub with her diamond ring front and center, writing “Still soaking it in #newlyenaged.”

According to “Entertainment Tonight,” Caila and the Chicago-based private equity investor started dating in 2017 after getting set up on a blind date. Caila said they had an “instant” connection. She told the site, “He entered the New York City bar after I just finished up with a Fashion Week event, and that was it. I was hooked. It’s actually really cute. He says it all the time but, ‘When you know, you know.’” She commended Nick for being “driven, goofy, adventurous, and passionate” and said he “makes me smile nonstop.”
Caila believes that her time on Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor” helped lead her to her new fiancé. “I feel really lucky because I feel like I wasn’t meant to go on the show to find love there. I was meant to go on the show to find Nick,” she told Us Weekly. “ If I wasn’t on the show, I wouldn’t ever have met him because I would never have been a blogger and that’s who introduced us and set us up on our first date.”
Congratulations, Caila and Nick!
