Chris Lambton and His Daughter Lyla Have the Sweetest Tradition 'Every Morning'
There’s nothing quite like quality father-daughter time for Chris Lambton.
On Wednesday, Peyton Wright Lambton shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram of their daughter Lyla sitting on Chris’ lap as they read the newspaper together. The first picture is a more current image of the 3-year-old, with the other two dating back to when she was a baby.
Peyton captioned it, “Same spot, every morning. Love looking back to see these two still reading the paper together every day.”

Reading with their kids seems to be quite the popular activity in the Lambton household!
Chris posts several photos on his Instagram page of either himself or Peyton reading to Lyla and their 13-month-old son, Hayes. In November, the “Bachelorette” Season 6 alum shared a photo of “story hour” with the kids as well as Peyton reading “good night bedtime stories” to Lyla.
The writing and reading bug runs in the family because Chris’ father, Ed, is a poet and participates in poetry readings in Cape Cod.

Although Chris and Peyton are a happy Bachelor Nation couple, they didn’t meet and get engaged on the show itself. Chris was the runner-up on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of “The Bachelorette,” whereas Peyton went home about halfway through Andy Baldwin’s season of “The Bachelor.” She went on to appear on the first season of “Bachelor Pad” three years later.
According to “Pop Sugar,” fellow Bachelor Nation cast member Jesse Beck brought them together at a golf tournament in North Carolina, and the rest is history.
Chris co-hosts the show “Lawn & Order” on DIY Network and they are both regulars on HGTV.
