Hunter Hayes Gives His Take on Peter Weber & Victoria F.'s Hometown Date Chemistry
Bachelor Nation, the time has arrived: Hometown Dates!
Peter Weber travels all over the country on Monday's episode of "The Bachelor" in the hopes of landing his true love. Hometown Dates provide a bigger picture into these women's families and their lives, and they finally get to plan the dates for Peter rather than the other way around.
A "Bachelor" date wouldn't feel complete without a special concert, and this time around, Hunter Hayes had the honor of performing. The "Wild Blue" artist serenaded Peter and Victoria F. in her hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia, which he said was "a blast."
Hunter spoke with Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on a new episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" about his concert and his first impression of Peter and Victoria's chemistry.
The 28-year-old singer explained to the podcast co-hosts that he was "flying totally blind" because he didn't know what to expect for the date. "It felt like they'd known each other for years," he said of Peter and Victoria. "It was really, really, almost weird for me. I knew a little bit, but it felt like they’d known each other for a long time. It didn’t feel forced or anything like that."
Hunter described his time performing as "such a fun day" and "such a fun atmosphere." The concert held extra significance for Hunter because he practiced a "new form" of his show that he's working on called The Lab.
He explained, "It’s a lot of technology meets performance. It was my first time performing with that. I thought I was going to be nervous performing with that particular element to it, but the whole day was so much fun."
