Peter Weber Says He’s 'Forever Grateful' to Hannah Ann & Madison Before 'Bachelor' Finale
Peter Weber is feeling nostalgic and thankful as his season of "The Bachelor" comes to a highly anticipated conclusion.
On Monday, the 28-year-old posted a slideshow of photos on Instagram from his time in Northern Territory, Australia, where he spent the last week of the show. He wrote, "Being the Bachelor has been the most incredible experience of my life. I have grown in ways that I didn’t even know possible. The two most beautiful things that happened to me throughout this journey have been @hannahann and @madiprew coming into my life and showing me love like I will never forget."
He concluded, "No matter how this thing ends I will be forever grateful for you both and this once in a lifetime journey."

How Peter's story ends is anyone's guess — including Peter. The teaser for the second episode of the two-night finale hints this will be "the ending not even Peter saw coming."
In Monday’s episode, Hannah Ann and Madison met Peter’s family to seek their approval. The Webers adored Hannah Ann, which ultimately caused Barbara Weber to beg Peter, "Don't let her go. Bring her home. Bring her home to us."
Madison’s interaction with the family did not go as smoothly as Peter had hoped. He defended their relationship to his parents, but they remained staunch in their position that they believed Hannah Ann to be a better fit for Peter.
The Auburn, Alabama, native broke up with Peter during their date and left the Bachelor heartbroken and teary-eyed in the middle of the Australian Outback. Madison said, "I think about that phrase you kept saying, 'Can love conquer all?' It really got me thinking, because sometimes I think the difference between being a great warrior and being a good fighter is knowing when to surrender."
She continued, "I think about love and I think about how much I want you and I want this so badly, but I think when you want something so badly, a lot of times you can’t see clearly. As much as we want this, I don’t know if we can give each other what we need."
Madison explained to Peter she was leaving because she wanted Peter to "get what you came here to find."
She told him, "I just think that we see things so differently. We expect such different things. There’s always going to be this level of misunderstanding, and I don’t want us to think we have to work into overtime."
Although Madison and Peter parted ways at that moment, she apparently returns and admits to Chris Harrison that she regretted her decision.
What will happen to Peter? Will he end up with Madison or Hannah Ann? Or, will Bachelor Nation completely be thrown off? After all, Chris did say this would be a "nontraditional season."
Look back on 11 of the biggest moments from Peter's season and be sure to tune in to the live finale of "The Bachelor" at 8 p.m. on ABC.
