Hannah Ann Says Watching 'The Bachelor' Was 'Really Helpful' After Peter Weber Split
Hannah Ann Sluss is shedding more light on her split from Peter Weber.
Peter proposed to the 23-year-old on the season finale of "The Bachelor," telling her, "Hannah Ann, your beautiful spirit is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. You are thoughtful, you are caring, you are selfless, you are passionate and above all else, you are one of a kind, and my heart chooses you forever. I love you, Hannah Ann. The love that you’ve shown me is all that I’ve ever wanted."
Their relationship, however, took a turn a few months later during a "happy couple weekend" in Los Angeles. Peter admitted, "I want so badly to be able to give you everything, give you my entire heart. That’s everything you deserve, but I can’t do that. I’m so sorry." He still had feelings for Madison Prewett, who left during their final week in Australia.
After reuniting with Peter for a tense conversation onstage at "After the Final Rose," the Knoxville, Tennessee, native opened up even more about their relationship during an exclusive interview on "Bachelor Happy Hour."

As devastating as the breakup was for Hannah Ann, she said watching "The Bachelor" on television provided her with a new understanding and perspective. She told Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin, "Watching the season back has actually been really helpful for me. It’s helped me work through any unresolved feelings I had towards him because I am able to see how he is consistently indecisive and confused."
She added, "That doesn’t make me feel secure in being with him. It’s really helped me move forward, because I know I deserve more than someone half-loving me."
Hannah Ann asserted Peter was "reckless with my heart."
She shared, "While I’m watching this season, I’m like, ‘Oh, that makes sense. Why we broke up makes a whole lot more sense. He couldn’t own up to the fact how he was truly feeling.'"
The season premiere seemingly marked the beginning of the end for Peter and Hannah Ann’s relationship. They got engaged in November, Season 24 premiered on January 6, and they broke up at the end of January. Hannah Ann revealed, "The beginning of January was when he approached me that he needed to speak with Hannah Brown. That’s the first red flag."
According to Hannah Ann, Peter needed to speak with the Season 15 Bachelorette "because he needed closure." She explained, "I was questioning my own self because he was trying to convince me that was something he needed. I didn’t feel settled with that. That was a week before we broke up."
