Hannah Ann Sluss Is Focusing on 'Being the Best Version' of Herself
Hannah Ann Sluss has endured a challenging few months, but she’s looking to the future with a glass-half-full mentality.
On Thursday, Hannah Ann shared a photo of herself at the top of a mountain while hiking in Los Angeles. The ocean and sky shone blue behind her as she smiled in a pastel yellow workout outfit..
She recently made the big move from Tennessee to Los Angeles, and is sharing how she's adjusting thus far. She wrote on Instagram, "Goals Get You Going - Whenever I’m feeling discouraged, I immediately set goals for myself." Hannah Ann explained in her caption that moving to Los Angeles was always one of her main "personal goals."
The 23-year-old added, "I’ve lived in Miami and NYC, but LA was always on my list. So I pushed myself to focus on this move versus the pain I was feeling."

She concluded with her main takeaway: "Focusing on your goals will occupy your mind and bring you one step closer to being the best version of you!"
Hannah Ann referenced her breakup with Peter Weber on "The Bachelor" in another Instagram post, and revealed how she stayed strong. She wrote, "'Be your own Rock'-Most of us don’t realize how strong we are until we have to be. In my situation, I couldn’t share my pain with very many people, so I had to dig deep to find and become my own emotional rock."
Hannah Ann and Peter broke off their engagement before the show's finale aired, and she opened up about the experience on an episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour." She told Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin, "My instincts were telling me I wasn’t getting all the information I needed from Peter. He told me on our last date he was going to make a decision that was for the best of us. When you’re with someone, you trust their word. But he conveniently left out some important information."
Seeing her experiences on "The Bachelor" play out on TV, however, helped Hannah Ann deal with "unresolved feelings." She shared on the podcast, "Watching the season back has actually been really helpful for me. It’s helped me work through any unresolved feelings I had towards him because I am able to see how he is consistently indecisive and confused."
For now, Hannah Ann is adjusting to her new home and moving forward. "For me, I gotta keep it moving. The situation is unfortunate. I gave myself a good couple of days and cried nonstop," she said. "Peter wasted an 'I love you,' and an engagement, but he’s not wasting any more of my tears."
