Andi Dorfman Calls 33 'One of the Worst and Best Birthdays I've Ever Had'
Andi Dorfman turns 33 on April 3, and she's looking at her big day through a bittersweet lens.
The Season 10 Bachelorette posted selfie on Instagram that showed her holding a tub of vanilla Funfetti icing — sprinkles included. She reflected on her birthday and it falling in the midst a global health crisis.
She began her caption, "Birthday breakfast of choice, minus the cake! Can 2020 just be over already? In all seriousness though, this one might go down as both the worst and best birthdays I’ve ever had."
Andi explained why and how this would be the "worst and the best" birthday for her. "Worst in the obvious fact that I’m alone, feeling isolated, missing loved ones and can’t remember the last time I’ve hugged someone," she wrote.

She ruminated, "But in a strange way the best in the sense that with everything happening right now; out of this nightmare, I’ve been reminded of what is important. Reminded that things don’t matter, health matters. Reminded that you can be strong and feel broken at the same time."
"Reminded that the love of family is and always will be one of life’s greatest blessings... It’s been a time where the sight of so much generosity amidst so much chaos and despair, has only further reaffirmed my belief that humans are inherently good and kind," she concluded. "And most of all, on this particular day for me, even if I can’t celebrate with anyone ... it is the very fact that I get to have another birthday, that makes me grateful for life in a way I’ve never known."
Andi consistently maintains a positive outlook on life. A lot of that can be attributed to her running and marathon training, which she's been documenting for a year. On March 24, she wrote about running and the transformative effect of exercise on the mind and spirit.

She shared, "Getting out for a small dose of fresh air is one of the few luxuries we still have here and even if it’s just for an hour a day, that one hour of sunshine and sweat seems to change my entire mindset. I’ve never been more grateful for running as I am right now."
Andi continues to share her "Andorfins" workout challenges and inspires people all around the country and world to take a few steps outside and keep moving.
Happy birthday, Andi!
