Chris Siegfried Hails 'Cool, Calm and Collected' Desiree Hartsock on Her Birthday
Desiree Hartsock Siegfried turns 34 on April 8, and her husband Chris Siegfried is celebrating by shining a spotlight on all the qualities he loves in her.
Chris took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared a mirror selfie of himself and Desiree and their two kids, Asher and Zander. Husband and wife look like a literal perfect match as they both wear black sweaters and faded blue jeans.
He captioned the image, "Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife! SHE is the rock in our family and the one keeping our mini zoo together everyday. Let’s be honest...she’s the cool, calm and collected one."
Chris then added details into every attribute he listed. For "Cool" he wrote, "Hard working mom - designing dresses for brides daily."
For "Calm," he described, "Even during times of uncertainty like now, she keeps a positive perspective on every aspect of life."
Finally, for "Collected," he expressed, "No matter what, she doesn’t get rattled."

On April 2, Desiree paid homage to her husband in an Instagram post that discussed her trying to "juggle" work and home life during this period of self-isolation. Des explained she doesn't mind social distancing because it allows her to "focus more," whereas Chris is "the ultimate extrovert who thrives on interaction and always getting out of the house to do something."
She wrote, "I'm actually super impressed with his patience right now."
In November, the Season 9 Bachelorette admitted she and Chris "don’t date or take time for just us as often as we probably should." However, she said they started "implementing a more weekly date night," which allows them to "connect more."
Meanwhile, Desiree continues to thrive as a wedding dress designer. She has pop-up shops all over the country and even shared her collection at the New York City Bridal Market in October.
Although Desiree won't be able to celebrate with a large group of people for her birthday tonight, she'll spend the day with the people she loves the most: her family.
