Juelia Kinney Reveals Her Home Burned Down After Electrical Fire
Juelia Kinney revealed she and her family suffered a major loss "about a month and a half ago."
Juelia, who appeared on Chris Soules' season of "The Bachelor" and "Bachelor in Paradise" Season 2, wrote a long Instagram post that was both tragic and hopeful as it provided significant updates about what her life has been like for the past few months.
She shared, "About a month and a half ago, I left for work in the morning, took Ireland to school and got a call that we had a fire in our house. My heart started beating rapidly- I had no idea what to expect. Were our dogs ok? Was everything ruined?"
Juelia explained the fire department "had to break down our front door" in order to get inside. Her dogs escaped and made it out safely, too.

She continued, "I got to the house and met with the fire department for a couple hours before I could see inside. It was an electrical fire from the stove. So thankful it didn’t happen while we were sleeping."
The 35-year-old called their home "inhabitable from that point and we were basically homeless."
Juelia and her fiancé Aaron Bass (brother of Evan Bass) picked up Juelia's daughter Ireland from school and headed to an Airbnb where they stayed for a period of time. She told her daughter they "didn’t have that house anymore and we would find a new house," which she cried about but "took it as best she could."
Juelia, Aaron and Ireland found a new place "within a week," which she feels "super thankful for." She wrote, "Showed me another side of Aaron I didn’t get to see before, that even when things get tough, and honestly really sucks... he sticks by my side, is always positive and even makes me laugh."

Aaron proposed to Juelia in 2018, but their wedding plans will be put on pause for the time being. She even picked out a wedding dress designed by Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock.
Juelia concluded her post with a positive outlook, writing, "We are really disappointed but through all of this I again know that although I don’t think all things happen for a reason, but what I do know is that GOOD ALWAYS COMES NO MATTER WHAT."
