Go Behind the Scenes and Meet 'Listen to Your Heart' Cast Members
The second episode of "The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart" is only a few hours away, and it promises to be filled with more singing, more tears, and more drama than the series premiere.
With new relationships blooming — and some already hitting a rocky patch — it’s time to take a closer look at the men and women searching for love on the show. Will they find the perfect fit to complete their duet? Or will this end as a solo act for some?
Check out some of the cast videos below to learn more about the people behind those melodious voices.
Ryan
Twenty-eight-year-old Ryan, who hails from Dearborn Heights, Michigan, works for an ophthalmologist during the day and spends most of his day "in little rooms mainly talking to old people." However, outside of work is his "happy time." He’s never dated a musician before and is looking forward to it!
Julia
Julia, a pop singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, "lives and breathes" music. She even graduated high school early to pursue a record contract. However, that plan had to be put on pause when she got sick due to her cystic fibrosis. She almost went on medication that had the potential to cause "severe hearing loss," but a new medication made all the difference.
Julia shares, "I thought I was going to die, but this new medication changed my life. If anyone asks me if I believe in miracles, the answer is yes."
Danny
A native Angeleno, 26-year-old Danny truly wants to find his perfect match. A self-described "weird, abnormal person," Danny says he has "over a million subscribers on YouTube, but at the same time, zero people have subscribed to my heart."
He reveals in the video, "Every big relationship I’ve ever been in hasn’t been faithful," and hopes he can find another musician "who is as passionate as me" about lyrics and music.
Mel
Mel, a 27-year-old who lives in Brooklyn, New York, has been "singing and songwriting for 10 years." She is "100 percent Korean, but was adopted and raised in South Dakota."
She describes herself as a "loner," but feels adamantly about finding affection. She says, "I want to love, I want to be loved, I want to be around love. I’m always searching for that powerful feeling."
