Kesha Vows She’d Be the 'Most Fun' Bachelorette Ever
The cocktail party don't start 'til Kesha walks in!
The pop singer joined Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on a new episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" and chatted with the co-hosts about her love of "The Bachelorette." As it turns out, she wouldn’t mind the chance to hand out roses in the future — but only if some aspects of her life were different.
Rachel inquired whether or not Kesha would ever go on a show like "The Bachelorette," and she responded with a resounding yes.
"Are you kidding? That’s like my dream," she expressed. "I told Chris Harrison, 'Listen. I have a boyfriend, but if it doesn’t work out, I’d be the most fun, bats--t crazy Bachelorette you’d ever have.' I would love to put men through the wringer. That sounds really fun. Just test them and then pick who your favorite one is."
However, Kesha joked that meeting and dating 30 men at the same time "sounds like a dream and a nightmare."
Kesha appears on Monday's episode of "The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart" as a guest judge for the show’s first performances. She told Rachel and Becca she was "super geeking out" when she met Chris Harrison in the flesh. She even brought a friend with her who first got her into the “Bachelor” shows. Kesha said she began watching "The Bachelor" as "a drinking game" with her friends, but then it transformed into something much bigger.
She said, "I started on a season when a guy was in charge and I wasn’t into it, but then I saw a season where the woman was in charge, and I was really into this. Then I got sucked in and can’t quit."
The "TiK ToK" singer didn't only "geek out" when she met Chris Harrison. She gushed to Becca and Rachel how much she loved them on their respective seasons and admitted she's "been a secret fan for a long time."
Kesha told Becca and Rachel, "I’m not even trying to be a nerd right now, but just seeing women be able to express themselves so eloquently while there’s cameras rolling, and I’m sure it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders in that moment and you’re without your phone and without being able to talk to your family, I just love watching you be so direct and badass and straightforward and create boundaries."
