Let Clare Crawley Be Your Guru for Green Smoothies
If you’ve ever looked at Clare Crawley’s Instagram, then you know the Season 16 Bachelorette has a penchant for whipping up healthy meals — especially green smoothies.
Clare often highlights these healthy and satisfying drinks by sharing recipes in her Instagram Stories. On Thursday, she posted a Boomerang of ingredients waiting to get mixed up in her blender, including celery, romaine, spinach, banana, apple, and pear. Though she didn’t post an "after" photo of her post-blender smoothie, it’s safe to assume it was bright green and thirst-quenching.
Since she tends to share recipes on social media, she has a highlights section on Instagram titled "Food faves," which documents favorite meals she’s made as of late. These include black bean brownies, tacos, flaxseed muffins, and, of course, smoothies and juice. Plus, her Instagram feed is filled with some of her other favorite go-to’s.

Clare’s green thumb of cooking also relates to her love of the outdoors. She often posts photos of herself hiking some of California’s prettiest mountains or kayaking on nearby lakes.
The 39-year-old is a fervent believer in self-love and self-care, which translates into her active lifestyle. She spoke at length about this mindset on a new episode of "Bachelor Happy Hour" and how it shaped who she is and what she wants to find in a husband.

She told Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin, "Coming off of Juan Pablo’s season, I was weak. I didn’t know who I was. I wasn’t self-aware. Now, coming from there and doing the work all in my 30s, I’m an empowered woman now, and a strong woman. I would say even more than being a strong woman — because I’m not always strong — more than anything, I’m a courageous woman now. Even when I’m weak, I still have the courage in myself to do hard things."
Clare said at another point in the podcast, "I want so bad for other women who are waiting and have waited to know that their self-worth comes first more than anything. It’s taken me a little longer to work on it and feel it and believe it, but only till you feel it and believe it and you love yourself can you allow other love into your life."
Clare hopes to inspire and empower women and men with her platform as the new Bachelorette.
"Everything happens for a reason. It has given me the time to sit and go, 'What is my message? What is it I want to share with women my age, women of any age?" she said on the podcast. "I want to be that woman for other women that says we all go through pretty awful stuff sometimes. Other people from just what you see, whether it be on social media or publicly, is not always the case. I want to be able to share my message."
With empowerment and those power greens in her, there will be no stopping Clare Crawley!
