Shawn Booth Took His Dog to Target and His Puppy's Reaction Is Priceless
Do you remember your first trip to Target? Shawn Booth’s dog, Walter, sure will!
Shawn recently brought home an adorable golden retriever and has been documenting his puppy’s adjustments to his new house in Nashville. Walter now seems to be a fixture at Shawn’s gym, and when they’re not working out, he can be seen looking cute running around or sitting in inconspicuous locations.
On Wednesday, Shawn posted a photo of Walter standing up in a Target shopping cart with his paws on the handle and a giant smile on his furry face. He captioned it, "@walterboothdog’s first trip to Target. He gets it."
In case Target is ever in the market for a new mascot, Walter might be the one!

Shawn introduced Walter to the world June 15 after posting a mysterious message earlier in the day on his Instagram Story. He cryptically said, "Tonight feels like as good a night as ever to let you guys know that there is somebody new in my life, and I’ve been kind of keeping it under wraps for a little bit."
Many people thought he had a secret girlfriend, but this new love interest turned out to be his little boy. Shawn posted a video documenting his journey to Salt Lake City to pick up Walter from the breeder.

Though he’s only a few months old (his birthday is April 15), Walter is growing at lightning speed.
Shawn’s new addition to the family came two months after he revealed his dog Tucker had "passed peacefully in my arms and in the comfort of our backyard."
He wrote on Instagram, "I’ve never loved anything more and he was the best boy I could ever ask for. I was the luckiest person in the world to have him by my side for 11+ years. I already miss him so much."
Walter could never replace Tucker. Rather, he’s carving a new path in Shawn’s heart — and a career as an unofficial Target spokesperson.
