The "Bachelor in Paradise" couple announced the big news in a photo shoot with "E! News" Tuesday. Jade and Tanner had their 20-week anatomy scan last week and she said everything looked "normal" thus far for baby Tolbert. Along with that, they learned the sex of the baby and said they had some fun ideas planned for the reveal.

According to "E! News," Jade and Tanner readied themselves, along with their two kids Emmy and Brooks, for a "volcano eruption of color," although what was supposed to be a plume of color ended up "like a flat blue pancake."

Jade explained to the website that she, Tanner, and Emmy "were all putting our bets on a baby girl," but they’re nonetheless ecstatic about having another boy. Jade called it a "fun and happy surprise," although big sis Emmy apparently still refers "to him as sister."

The soon-to-be mom of three said, "I'm so grateful, and I'm so happy we decided to find out before the baby is born. It gives me something to look forward to and I feel even more bonded to him now."

Jade and Tanner's current youngest, Brooks, turns 1 July 29. Tanner told "E! News" it feels "pretty awesome to have two boys so close in age." Their boy is due in November.

He said, "I'm excited to see them grow up and be so close and hopefully be a little competitive with each other. It'll be fun to see the differences in personalities. Plus, this way Emmy is still our only girl and that feels special to us."

Jade opened up recently on her Instagram Story about expecting a baby during the coronavirus pandemic. She said, "I'm totally with you with this feeling of how weird it is to be pregnant with COVID and feeling like our family members and loved ones aren’t able to be a part of it as much."

Although the quarantine isn't ideal, she said it "doesn't take away from the specialness" of being pregnant. However, she admitted that things are "slightly harder" this time around.

"I think just because we have two little humans to look after, so the exhaustion is real, even though I’m getting decent sleep," she said in her Instagram Story. "With Emmy and Brooks, the second trimesters were breezy! This time around I already feel VERY pregnant. Lots of pressure and throbbing and pains already on my lady parts."

On Tuesday, Jade wrote about how Brooks and Emmy, who turns 3 August 17, are the "cutest best friends." She uploaded a selfie with herself and her two kids and wrote, "When Brooks was a newborn, Emmy didn’t seem to mind his presence, but she didn’t want to hold him on her lap or really interact with him, so we never forced her. It always made me a little sad, because I was hoping they would have an amazing bond."

Her caption continued, "Well, it’s been the best to watch their relationship naturally evolve, because nowadays, they are equally obsessed with each other. They have giggle sessions that last forever, and I just sit and watch and smile because I honestly have zero idea what they are laughing about. It’s like they have their own language now. They are the cutest best friends."
