Raven Gates Is 'So Thankful' for Adam Gottschalk as She Reminisces Before Her Birthday
Raven Gates is "taking time to reflect" on her big year as she turns 29 on July 23. Raven and her fiancé Adam Gottschalk were due to tie the knot in May, but the coronavirus pandemic derailed those wedding plans for now.
On Wednesday, Raven uploaded a series of photos from an "at home engagement shoot" that marked the one-year anniversary of their engagement, as well as their "first (cancelled) wedding date." The pictures show Raven and Adam smiling, laughing, and lounging around their newly-renovated house.
She wrote in the caption, "I’ll be 29 this week & I’m taking time to reflect on these 28 years! This year has taught me to make lemonade out of lemons! I’m soooo thankful to be riding this rollercoaster of life with the love of my life. He has taught me to find joy in the smallest of things."

In honor of her birthday, Adam posted several pictures of Raven on his Instagram Story, including some throwbacks from her Little League days, as well as their travels around the world.
About a month before their scheduled wedding date, Raven wrote about some of the ups and downs of the year, but she maintained a positive outlook. She shared, "We’ve had to move (by ourselves), reschedule our wedding, and deal with everything everyone else is going through- but it’s not about us!! It’s about everyone! We’re in this together!"
In the meantime, Adam and Raven have been soaking up every minute of their stunning new home — including enjoying their newly built swimming pool. She recently shared a photo of herself sitting on Adam’s lap in their backyard and expressed, "if our life together is all about turning bad days into good ones.. then even on bad days, I’m the luckiest girl alive. I love you my sweet Adam."

The couple met and fell in love on Season 4 of "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2017. They left the beach in Mexico as a couple and decided to continue exploring their relationship rather than get engaged immediately.
Over the course of the next two years, Raven moved to Dallas to be with Adam, where she runs her clothing boutique Grey Suede. Adam proposed May 31, 2019, on a rooftop during one of Raven’s photo shoots.
One thing is certain: A postponed wedding date won’t dim Raven and Adam’s love for each other. Plus, happy birthday Raven!
