Chris Harrison Is the Proudest Dad as He Drops His Son Off at College
Will you accept this sentimental moment?
Chris Harrison went full proud dad mode Tuesday as he dropped his son Joshua off to begin his freshman year of college. Joshua will also play on Texas Christian University’s Division 1 varsity lacrosse team.
Chris shared a photo of himself leaning against Joshua’s bed as his son sits on it and another one of Joshua with two friends making the Horned Frogs (the Texas Christian University mascot) hand symbol.
Chris captioned it, "Just like that he’s gone. Thought dropping the big man off at college @texaschristianuniversity today was going to crush me but all I could feel is pride and excitement. Especially now, so grateful that they have this opportunity. Now go take on the world and have the time of your life my boy."

On May 1, national college decision day, the beloved "Bachelor" host shared a tribute to his son and his decision to attend TCU. He adorned his front door with university gear and posed in front of it with Joshua, his sister Taylor, and Chris' girlfriend Lauren Zima.
Chris wrote, "Today is national college decision day for my son and the class of 2020. I’m sorry you all are celebrating this monumental day at home and that this hasn’t been the senior year you have earned. Congratulations to those making such a life changing decision today. Proud of you Joshua earning the honor and making the decision to attend #TCU."

Joshua has followed in his father’s footsteps and become something of a mini "Bachelor" star in his own right recently. He’s acted as Chris' one-man film crew as Chris emcees "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!" from home. Chris often applauds Joshua for his lighting abilities and offers him expert dating advice, such as not getting a tattoo for the Bachelorette or serenading her when she doesn’t want to be serenaded.
Alas, when it comes to relationship tips learned from "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," father knows best on this one.
Congratulations on starting college, Joshua!
