What Bryan Abasolo Loves Most About Rachel Lindsay
There's a lot to love about Rachel Lindsay. She's a history-making Bachelorette who never shies from speaking her mind, a podcast host (hello "Bachelor Happy Hour"!), a TV host, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Her husband Bryan Abasolo appreciates and lauds her for all of that.
Bryan answered a series of questions on his Instagram Story, many of which revolved around how he and Rachel are coping with quarantine and "dealing with negativity." While Bryan put a positive spin on all of his answers, he had a two-word response for one query that spoke volumes.
One fan asked, "What's one of the things you love most about Rachel?"
He wrote back, "Her ambition."
Bryan has always been his wife’s biggest fan and regularly supports her on and off social media. On her birthday, for instance, he wrote, "Especially in today’s uncertain times, your presence constantly reminds me how lucky I am and I find myself counting my blessings for the fact that I have such a genuine, loving, and supportive partner to lean on no matter what. Each and every day that passes being with you just grows sweeter and sweeter."

Rachel and Bryan met and fell in love on Season 13 of "The Bachelorette," and Bryan spoke about this a bit in his Instagram Q&A. Someone asked about the “best and worst parts” of being on "The Bachelorette," and he said, "Besides Rachel… Best: the amazing people you meet and traveling."
For Bryan, the "worst" part was "the anxiety of not knowing what craziness the producers were going to throw at you on a date for example. But then you did it, and it wasn’t so bad at all. More so the anticipation right before."
The "Bachelorette" lovebirds will be celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary on August 24, and Bryan said married life is "going great" in quarantine thus far. He shared, "Keys are communication, respect, lots of love and knowing when to give each other space."
Those same tenets are also how they cope with negativity and rude comments online. Bryan said in his answer he and Rachel emphasize "supporting each other and being a sounding board."

He added, "Sometimes you need to vent and your partner can give you a different yet positive perspective on things."
Bryan admitted he and Rachel deal with anxiety amid these uncertain times, but "rest, exercise, hydration, sunshine, quality food, fresh air, lots of self-care" make it easier.
In a July "Bachelor Happy Hour" episode, Rachel and her co-host got candid about struggling with the harder days in quarantine.
She said, "If I’m honest, I have highs and lows. Some days I wake up and I feel hopeful and ready to tackle the day. Other days, I take 15 steps back."
Rachel also encouraged listeners to "to take a step back or talk to somebody or just admit that you’re not OK" if that happens.
As for the oft-asked question of when she and Bryan plan on having baby Abasolos, Bryan said on his Story, "Talks have been happening."
