Jade Roper & Tanner Tolbert Enjoy Beachy Weekend Getaway
Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert only had to travel an hour to escape to a paradise that gives the Amalfi Coast a run for its money.
The pair spent the weekend in Catalina, a tiny island off the coast of Los Angeles, and enjoyed quality time together while their two kids stayed at home with their grandma. The "Bachelor in Paradise" couple, who are expecting their third child in November, slathered on sunscreen and sipped on piña coladas (a virgin one for Jade) while looking out at the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
Jade shared a photo on Instagram of her standing on the beach in a bikini holding her growing baby bump. She wrote, "Sun’s out, bump’s out. 🌴 Tanner and I took our first overnight trip since Brooksy was born, and it was so nice to reconnect and enjoy time together as a couple on Catalina Island. Incredible it’s only one hour away, but it felt like we were half way across the world somewhere tropical for a night."

Tanner shared a similar message on his Instagram when talking about their mini vacation.
He began, "One of the biggest things in our relationship is travel... it always seems to 'reset' us and bring us closer together. But obviously 2020 has put a damper on that... we have had to cancel a few trips this year... and honestly we started to get into a rut just sitting in the house with the kids all year."
They did some research on places nearby and settled on Catalina after glowing recommendations from their neighbors. He called it a "perfect, easy getaway that literally feels like we went to Europe or something."

Jade and Tanner returned from Catalina just in time for their daughter Emmy’s third birthday. They rang in her big day with cartoons in bed and a delicious selection of doughnuts.
Tanner uploaded a series of photos of Emmy from the day she was born until now, and captioned them, "How is my little girl 3 already??? It has been my life’s greatest joy being your daddy Emmy... but let’s slow down on the growing up please... I think I want you to stay this little forever. Love you!"
Happy birthday, Emmy!
