Clare Crawley Demands Respect in New 'Bachelorette' Promo
Clare Crawley wants one thing and one thing only: R-E-S-P-E-C-T! (That means you, Juan Pablo.)
"The Bachelorette" released a new promo Monday for Clare’s season, which premieres Tuesday, October 13. In it, we see clips from Juan Pablo’s season of "The Bachelor," including Clare epically telling him off at the final Rose Ceremony.
She starts, "You think you know me. I’ve been down this road before."
In the video, which is set to a cover of Aretha Franklin’s "Respect," Clare throws and kicks around rose petals, showing us that she will take nothing less than the utmost respect from her guys.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
The new promo comes just days after the show released the first poster for her season.
Clare has made it clear ever since she was announced as the Bachelorette that she refuses to settle. She told Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay in a "Bachelor Happy Hour" interview in June, "I laugh at people when they say, 'I can’t believe you’re 39 and single! You’re desperate,' or this or that. The best piece of advice I can say is I personally would rather be spending 20 years with the man of my dreams being wholly loved for who I am rather than 50, 60 years with the wrong man."
Nothing but respect for our Bachelorette!
