Desiree Hartsock Siegfried Is So Ready for Fall to Arrive
In some cities, it might not feel like autumn is here quite yet. September always marks new beginnings with the start of the school year and the leaves hinting at changing their hues. Plus, did we mention pumpkin spice everything?
It’s nearly time to dust off those cable-knit sweaters and grab the rake from the toolshed, and no one is more ready for that than Desiree Hartsock Siegfried.
On Monday, Desiree posted a photo on Instagram of her son Zander standing in front of sunflowers in a field. She wrote in her caption, "I’m feeling Fall creepin in and not mad about it. 🍂 Think I’m ready for the sweaters, the cozy nights in, the change of leaves and the pumpkin spice. Something about the change of season brings about renewal and jump starts inspiration and I’m here for it."

She ended her caption with a quote by Helen Keller that reads, "Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. It’s what sunflowers do."
Desiree, her husband Chris Siegfried, and their kids Asher and Zander spent their summer seeing nature’s best bounties in their home state of Oregon.

Des and Chris have also had their fair share of date nights, too.
On August 9, she posted a photo of herself with her arms around Chris as they stand in front of Hood River in Oregon. She wrote, "The rock to my feather. ❥❥❥ It’s cliche but so true that opposites attract! I’m calm when he’s anxious, he’s calm when I’m nervous (especially with the boys), he’s logical when I’m in the clouds, I’m the dreamer when he’s consistent."

She added, "Marriage is a constant lesson on how to balance and strengthen each other’s differences to grow together and I’m just so thankful for my man."
