Sarah Herron Shares Powerful Mantra About Body Positivity
Sarah Herron has a powerful mantra about body positivity that she's sharing with her followers.
On Wednesday, Sarah posted a selfie from her bedroom in which she is seen wearing a rolled-up, long-sleeve shirt and ripped jeans. She began her caption, "Try this on for size; 'My body is not wrong, these jeans are wrong for my body.'"
She explained that the phrase was the "new mantra I’m practicing when voices start getting loud in the mirror."
Sarah continued, "For example; I’m going to replace 'ugh, my legs look fat' with 'there’s nothing wrong with my legs, these jeans just aren’t right for my body. There are better jeans for me.' As I continue to nourish and nurture my body, I’m allowing myself to feel comfortable with seeing it change as a result."

The 33-year-old wrote that she would make getting dressed and wearing clothes more of an "empowering experience."
"I’m having fun 'reinventing' my style to match my maturity, my body type and my mindset — rather than trying to squeeze myself into what I wore when I was 21, forever," she wrote.
Sarah offered some tips for anyone feeling the same way, including "Practice the mantra above—keep saying it until you believe it."

The "Bachelor" Season 17 alumna reinforced her theory that it's reasonable to "splurge on a few new pieces of clothing," especially from an "age appropriate brand" because "investing in your confidence is important!"
Sarah offered up some more advice and concluded her empowering post with, "I hope some of this helps, because I know the war we wage against ourselves in the mirror can be brutal. Ease yourself into this fall/winter fashion season. Be gentle on yourself if you discover clothes that fit you last season, no longer do. We’ve all been through a lot this year. Be kind to your body."
Sarah has spoken a lot on body positivity in the past as well. In December, on what would have been the taping of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she posted a photo of herself in a bra and underwear and told people to "go love on some ladies who are the real super models of life."
