Ben Higgins Announces He Wrote a Book, 'Alone in Plain Sight'
Ben Higgins achieved a major goal that was two years in the making.
On Monday, the Season 20 Bachelor announced on social media he wrote a book called "Alone in Plain Sight," with the subtitle "Searching for Connection When You’re Seen But Not Known."
He posted a video on Instagram sharing the book cover and captioned it, "2 years ago I sat down to start writing something I wanted to truly matter for the reader. 2 years ago I started a journey that would unexpectedly turn into the most vulnerable and raw experience of my life. Today I can finally start sharing this experience with all of you."
Ben wrote that he hopes his book will help people feel "less alone, recognize you are loved, and believe that you matter."

He concluded his note, "This is my love letter to all of you and I hope you know I’ll accept it."
Ben dove deeper into his reasons for writing the book in a recent interview with People. He revealed, "For most of my life, I’ve felt like an outsider, like the kid who never gets invited to the party but is stuck looking in through the window while everyone else has a great time without me."
The 31-year-old shared he harbored a "deep fear of being rejected" ever since he was young.
Ben wanted to remind people who feel "alone, isolated, misunderstood, disconnected, and hurt" that they are "not alone."
He shared, "'Alone in Plain Sight' is for all of us who have felt like we do not belong, and argue that through our shared pains, stories and struggles we are more connected than ever before."
