Peter Weber Went Down 'Memory Lane' to Relive Golf Cart Accident
Love hurts, they say.
Peter Weber will undoubtedly always remember his time as the Season 24 Bachelor, but there’s one physical mark that acts as a gentle reminder of his journey to find love.
The pilot got into a freak accident after arriving in Costa Rica. He hit his head on a golf cart, shattered a glass in his hand, and then got glass in his head wound. The injury required 22 stitches and a bandage. Peter took a "little trip down memory lane" on his Instagram Story Thursday and relived the infamous moment.
Another tidbit from that episode shows an "anonymous reporter" speaking to the camera with voice-changing software. This person provides all the insider details on the "tragic accident."
This so-called mysterious person, who ends up being Chris Harrison, said, "I just want to say it’s important I remain anonymous, although I do know every detail about Peter’s tragic accident that I will share. As you can see in the surveillance video, Peter was getting into the back of the cart."
Chris/the "insider" compared the accident to another dramatic moment in Bachelor Nation history: Colton Underwood’s fence jump.
"If Colton jumped the fence but then caught his foot and fell face-first into the cement and broke his head open, this would be the same as that, without any athleticism, skill, or talent," a disguised Chris said. "When I think of the clumsiest Bachelor or Bachelorette we’ve ever had, Peter takes the cake. I’ve seen Peter fall a lot, trip a lot, bumping into things, and it’s not a surprise this tragedy took place."
Peter fully admitted on his Instagram Story that he can have two left feet from time to time.
He joked, "Definitely take cake for the clumsiest."
