Caelynn Miller-Keyes & Dean Unglert's Next Adventure Takes Them to the Maldives
Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert have traveled all over the world together, and now they can add the Maldives to their list of destinations.
Although stay-at-home orders due to the coronavirus pandemic meant exploring more locally, they flew for the first time in eight months and ventured to the small island situated in the Indian Ocean. Both Dean and Caelynn explained the precautions they took prior to getting on the flight as well as upon arriving in the Maldives.
Dean posted a video on his Instagram page that documented the various parts of their journey, including flight attendants wearing full protective gear, Caelynn donning a face shield, Caelynn walking through the airport, and wading in the water at their beach villa.

He captioned it, "three flights, two covid tests, and a boat ride and we finally made it to the maldives. this was my first time on an airplane since february and i’ll admit, i was skeptical when we were considering taking this trip. i’ve never been too worried about myself per se, but the possibility of getting someone else sick terrifies me."
Dean explained that Qatar Airways is "requiring a negative covid test, requiring a face mask AND face shield to board, amenity kits, and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized to the best of their ability," and that allowed him to feel "way more comfortable" about flying.
In her Instagram post, Caelynn said the Maldives was her "dream destination" and she felt "very safe" while flying. They got tested for COVID when they got to the Maldives, and once they received their negative results, they could finally start taking in the scenery outside of their villa.

On Wednesday, Caelynn showed videos of the villa that they'll be staying in for two nights. It's situated right on the water and the ocean views are plentiful. The villa also includes a hammock above the water and a water slide.
"I don't even have words," Caelynn sighed. "It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."
