Hannah Ann Sluss Had a 'Love-at-First-Sight' Moment on 'The Bachelor' — But It's Not What You Think
Hannah Ann Sluss will never forget the moment she stepped out of the limo the first night of Peter Weber’s season of "The Bachelor." It’s an experience her fellow "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" alums share, but for Hannah Ann, one moment in particular stood out the most to her.
Hannah Ann and her "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" co-hosts Tayshia Adams and Joe Amabile chatted about Clare Crawley’s season premiere of "The Bachelorette" and what they remember from their own first nights.
Joe shared, "For me, that limo ride was the scariest limo ride of my life. I remember being like, 'Oh, my God, this is really happening. This is really happening. I’m freaking out.' It’s nice to sit back and watch."
Tayshia said she "blacked out" when she first met Colton Underwood.
Hannah Ann, on the other hand, embraced it.
"I loved it. I wanted to do it all over again," she said on the podcast. "For me, it was love at first sight. I was soaking up every single moment of it. But it was really love at first sight when I saw Chris Harrison for the first time. That gave me the chills."
Hannah Ann added, "His presence when you see him for the first time and every single time after that, it was like seeing God. There’s just something about him."
That wasn’t the only otherworldly comparison Hannah Ann made about the "Bachelor" experience. She said, "Also, I feel disappointed for the guys, because it’s the first sight walking out of the limo and you get to see the mansion for the first time. It’s the mansion you’ve seen on TV for years. Seeing it in person, it gives you chills. It’s like you’re seeing the gates of heaven."
The Knoxville, Tennessee, native added, "You’re about to walk into it — you’re not walking into heaven, you’re walking into a disaster with a bunch of drama — but seeing it for the first time, I hate that the guys couldn’t have that experience due to COVID. There’s nothing like it."
