A Ventriloquist Doll Takes Center Stage During 'Bachelorette Australia' Talent Show
What’s a season of any "Bachelor"-related show without a bit showing off special talents?
The men competing for Elly and Becky Miles' hearts on "The Bachelorette Australia" showed off their diverse skills on a talent show group date. Elly and Becky are sisters and co-Bachelorettes, which means group dates are always double the fun.
This particular performance featured a magic show by James, who renamed himself "Magic Mike" for the day, as well as some mediocre juggling by Adrian. As impressive as Magic Mike’s tricks were, Sam, a 35-year-old lawyer from New South Wales, brought up a ventriloquist doll and wowed the entire crowd.
Sam’s doll spoke with an Italian accent as he told jokes and serenaded big sister Becky.
It turns out Sam’s skills were good enough to pass the test, because he won the talent show and got extra time with Becky! Joe did some ribbon twirling onstage and wooed Elly, so he earned one-on-one time with her after the group date.
