Kaitlyn Bristowe Releases New Song, and It Has the Most Heartfelt Backstory
Kaitlyn Bristowe dropped a clip of her new single "Good for Somebody" over the weekend, and the song comes with the most heartwarming inspiration.
She explained, "My song is OUT NOW. You know why today? Because it’s Jason’s birthday and I wrote it for him. When I met Jason I always thought, 'man, he’s going to be so good for somebody' not realizing that was going to be me."
Jason, in his own Instagram post, said he was "speechless" that she released a song on his birthday specifically for him.

He wrote, "The back story...I was on a zoom with some friends from home to celebrate the bday. Kaitlyn patiently/anxiously awaited me to finish the call. As I said 'good bye' to the guys, she quickly jumped over to show me that she was excited that she just released her song, that she wrote about me, to release on my birthday. The most thoughtful and kind gift I have ever been given...ever!"

"Good for Somebody" isn't the only tribute Kaitlyn has made to Jason as of late. On October 5, the Season 11 Bachelorette dedicated her waltz on "Dancing with the Stars" to her beau.
She wrote on Instagram the day of her big performance, "Tonight my dance is for you. My rock, my lobster, my rock lobster. You are such a joy to be around. You’re always lifting me up instead of holding me down, stealing my heart instead of stealing my crown. Ok those are kacey Muscraves lyrics but I meant it. You are always there to build me up and champion my dreams. Tonight my dance is for you. I love you."

Kaitlyn and Jason just marked their two-year anniversary of meeting for the first time. They crossed paths when she interviewed Jason on her podcast "Off the Vine."
Jason recalled in a June interview with Chris Harrison, "I was crushing pretty quickly, actually. I had left the podcast and I turned the corner, called my best buddy, and he said, 'How’d it go? I know you’re excited for it.' I said, 'Yep, just met my future wife.'"
