5 Questions We Need Answered on Thursday's Epic Episode of 'The Bachelorette'
Thursday's episode of "The Bachelorette" promises to be a big one.
Based on trailers and sneak peeks, Chris Harrison tells Clare Crawley the path she's on "doesn't end well" and that she's "blown up 'The Bachelorette.'" Clare assert's she'll "never apologize for love" and the men "can't comprehend what's going on."
Plus, the trailer ends with Tayshia getting out of a swimming pool as dramatic music plays in the background.
Needless to say, there's a lot to unpack here.
Here are five major questions we have about this week's episode of "The Bachelorette" that we want answered.
1. So, does Clare really blow up "The Bachelorette"?
Chris Harrison's line about blowing up "The Bachelorette" has been shown in every trailer thus far, cementing it as one of the most iconic sentences in franchise history. This is the week it happens, but how? And why?
Clare hinted at the answer in an interview with Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay on "Bachelor Happy Hour" after the season premiere.
She told the podcast co-hosts, "I’ll tell you exactly how I blew up 'The Bachelorette.' I said what I wanted to say. I did what I wanted to do. I followed my heart. I followed my gut. I didn’t let anyone tell me what to do, because I know what’s best for myself."
2. Does this mean Clare finds her happy ending?
Clare tearfully tells Chris in the trailer she's "waited so long for this," meaning her happily ever after.
She looked for love on "The Bachelor," "Bachelor in Paradise," and "Bachelor Winter Games" before taking the helm as Bachelorette. What will happen to her love story and her hopes for a happily ever after?
3. What does this mean for the rest of the men?
Chris Harrison tells the men, "We have never dealt with anything like this in the history of our show."
The guys become "confused as all hell" and "drained," wondering "what's next" with their time on the show.
In a season that already started unlike any other, it looks like it will continue that way based on what Chris reveals to them as they sit around their common area waiting for answers. Will the men find the clarity they’re looking for?
4. Did Clare and Dale speak before "The Bachelorette" started?
Clare fell head over heels in love with Dale almost instantly. She said as soon as he got out of the limo, "I knew it. I definitely feel like I just met my husband."
The men and Chris Harrison will confront Clare and ask her if she communicated with Dale before the show started. What's the truth?
5. Tayshia???
The men wonder "what's next?" and in the teaser, Tayshia walks out of a pool with a sly smile on her face. Tayshia played coy on last week's episode of "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" when asked about this moment.
She joked on the podcast, "I was just trying to swim in a pool. All I know is that I love Palm Springs, I love La Quinta, I love to vacation there. It was summer, it was hot, it was a pool. I was just swimming around. I don’t know what you’re referring to."
Sure, Tayshia.
