Joe Amabile Shares a Nightmarish Story About a Recent First Date
There are good dates, bad dates, and some dates so over the top that you wonder if they’re actually happening to you.
For Joe Amabile, it was the latter.
Well, ladies, listen up, because after this experience, Joe is ready to get off the market.
Joe joined Tayshia Adams and Hannah Ann Sluss on a new episode of "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" and shared the story of a cringeworthy date he went on recently. He prefaced the tale, "Being single is not ideal anymore. It’s not, and I’ve realized that."
The "Bachelor in Paradise" alum explained that he was at a party and met a woman through some mutual friends.
He said, "We’re hanging out having a few drinks, hitting it off, and go back to a bar near my place. We go to a bar, have a drink near me, and get back to my place. Nothing’s happened, but we kiss for a few minutes."
After some kissing, she runs to the bathroom saying she feels "so embarrassed" and throws up.
Joe continued, "I get her some water. She takes a sip of the water and throws the rest of it on the wall and gives me a crazy look. I’m like, 'Oh, f--k. Oh no.'"
The woman then goes into Joe's bedroom and "passes out fully dressed."
He said, "This is the first time we’re hanging out. I barely know her but we’ve been hanging out for a significant amount of time, maybe four or five hours. She passes out. I’m not going to wake her up. I go to sleep."
The next thing Joe knows, he hears banging on his door and wakes up to someone yelling, "Chicago Police! Open the door."
He described, "I pop up. It’s 4 in the morning. I look to the left and this girl is gone. I get up and look down. Her shoes are there and her purse is there. Her phone’s there. Now I’m like, 'What is going on?' I open the door and there’s three cops. They got the flashlights. I’m like, 'Guys, if you want, you can come in.'"
The cops ask, "Was there a woman here tonight? What happened?"
Joe explained, “I said, 'We had a few drinks, she threw up, she passed out, and now I’m talking to you guys. You want to tell me what’s going on?' They’re like, 'Is this her stuff?' They’re like, 'Aright, we’ll be back in 15 minutes.' Thirty minutes passes. Nothing."
According to Joe, the cops never came back and he "didn’t get the girl’s number, didn’t hear from her ever again."
Joe concluded his story, "That’s why I’m sick of being single."
Sounds like Grocery Store Joe had a pretty rotten experience with that.
