How Ben Higgins & Jess Clarke Do Date Nights During Lockdown
The coronavirus pandemic's lockdown orders aren't stopping from Ben Higgins and Jess Clarke from safely initiating date nights.
Jess and Ben celebrated six months of engagement in September, and on Monday, Ben shared how the couple keeps their relationship strong amid the coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home orders. Ben posted a selfie of himself and Jess in the car as they both flash huge smiles.
He explained in the caption, "One advice we have received is never ever stop date nights, no matter what. So, even with the shutdowns we will have our own dress up and drive date nights now!"

Desiree Hartsock Siegfried, who often posts on social media about prioritizing one-on-one quality time with her husband, commented, "Yes!! Never stop date nights 👌🏻💕"
In October, Ben and Jess celebrated their two-year anniversary a few months early as they dined at the same restaurant where they had their first date. At that dinner, Jess recorded Ben on her Instagram Story telling the tale of that fateful first meeting.
He began, "When you first came to Denver, we went to a restaurant in Evergreen called Willow Creek. We didn’t know each other well. We just had messaged. We sat at Willow Creek for 3½ hours. We started at maybe 2 o’clock and we sat until dinnertime, when they had to ask us to leave."
Ben continued, "We shared French fries and a bottle of wine. It was the moment I knew that I was in trouble."
Earlier in November, Jess announced in People that she found her wedding dress, saying, "I have never felt more beautiful and I left feeling so peaceful and confident."
