Catherine Giudici Reminisces About 8-Year Engagement Anniversary to Sean Lowe
"Bachelor" fans will never forget Sean Lowe and his newly minted fiancée Catherine Giudici riding off into the Thai sunset on the back of an elephant after getting engaged. It was one for the books!
On Tuesday, Catherine looked back on that special day as she and Sean marked their eighth engagement anniversary. She posted a photo on Instagram after the proposal that shows them walking together down a dirt path. They're holding hands and Sean looks over at her and smiles as Catherine holds up her dress from getting dirty.
She captioned it, "I knew when you proposed to me and finally said 'I love you' it was going to be forever with you. Happy 8th engagement anniversary my love ❤️"

Their engagement anniversary comes one day after Sean's birthday on November 16. Catherine posted a picture of Sean on Monday and wrote, "Happy birthday to the man that makes every single moment better 🎉 @seanloweksu, you are everything to me and I can’t imagine going through life with a better partner."

The caption continued, "Thank you for making me laugh about everything and nothing, for picking up our children when they fall down, for saying 'I love you' every chance you get. You have always been my dream man, you giant hunk of hotness. Happy birthday my love!"
Catherine not only called Sean a "hunk" on the first night of "The Bachelor," but their entire romance on the show was filled with tons of laughter and inside jokes.
Her birthday note to Sean echoed much of what he said in his proposal speech that last day in Thailand.
Sean said, "This has been such a crazy journey and there have been so many unexpected, wonderful moments with you. I knew from the very beginning that you were someone I wanted to be around, I just had no idea that my feelings were going to turn into what they’ve turned into. You never cease to amaze me. You never do."
Before getting down on one knee, he continued, "I think the world of you and I miss you every time we have to say goodbye. I don’t want to say goodbye anymore. Catherine, I want to spend the rest of my life telling you I love you and making you feel like the most special, beautiful woman in the world."
He opened his Neil Lane box with the diamond ring in it and Catherine asked, "Is this for real?"
Sean responded, "It’s for real. I love you so much. I’m going to tell you every day."
Though Sean said the day they got engaged that he's "the lucky one," he often posts quippy comments about his family and how lucky Catherine is for marrying him, which happened on January 26, 2014.
He posted a selfie with his wife on October 24, for instance, and joked, "After all these years, I still can’t believe how lucky she is."
Happy anniversary, Sean and Catherine!
