Kaitlyn Bristowe's Perfect Scores Send Her to 'DWTS' Finals as She Honors Late Best Friend
Kaitlyn Bristowe is officially a "Dancing with the Stars" finalist!
Kaitlyn and her partner Artem Chigvintsev performed two dances on Monday's episode of "Dancing with the Stars" and wowed the judges both times.
Their contemporary dance to "Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Chicks held extra significance for the former Bachelorette because she dedicated it to her late best friend Lindsay, who passed away in a car accident when they were 17. The three celebrity judges told Kaitlyn that her love for Lindsay was very evident.
Carrie Ann Inaba said, "Kaitlyn, your friend Lindsay is smiling down on you and so proud of you."
Monday morning, Kaitlyn posted a series of photos with Lindsay from their childhood, writing, "Tonight I dance for Lindsay. We are dancing to her favorite song, and one we played at her funeral, 'cowboy take me away'. Lindsay was someone I met when I was 4 years old. We were attached at the hip. We grew up together, she was my Next door Neighbor who became family."
She added at the end of her caption, "Tonight I dance for Lindsay. We are dancing to her favorite song, and one we played at her funeral, 'cowboy take me away'. Lindsay was someone I met when I was 4 years old. We were attached at the hip. We grew up together, she was my Next door Neighbor who became family."
Kaitlyn and Artem also performed a paso doble as part of their redemption routine. They previously scored a 24 out of 30 during Villains Night for their paso doble, but on Monday, received perfect 10s all around.
We can't wait to see you in the "Dancing with the Stars" finals, Kaitlyn!
