Ashley Iaconetti & Jared Haibon Are a Boy Band House Divided: Whose Side Are You On?
It’s the age-old question: *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys?
Beloved Bachelor Nation couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon may have different answers — but, luckily, their combatant boy band loyalties haven’t torn them apart. In this case, it appears as though opposites do in fact attract.
"I’m an *NSYNC girl who ended up with a Backstreet Boy," Ashley recently wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a fun video illustrating their opposing allegiances.
The clip opens with Jared rocking a red BSB Christmas sweater as the intro of "Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)" plays. Ashley then appears in a green sweater embroidered with the cover of *NSYNC’s 2000 album, “No Strings Attached,” before showing off a Justin Timberlake tree ornament and breaking out into the group’s iconic choreography for “Bye Bye Bye.”
Jared attempts to one-up his wife with a chair dance to Backstreet Boys' "The Call," which includes passionate lip-syncing and, yes, even a few hip thrusts. That’s when Ashley comes in to push Jared out of the way to get her groove on to *NSYNC’s "It’s Gonna Be Me."
Finally, a smiling Ashley seems to confidently declare that she has won this particular boy band battle by hanging an *NSYNC ornament on their Christmas tree.
This, of course, isn’t the first time Ashley has expressed her undying love for *NSYNC — and namely, its most popular member, JT. Back in October, she shared a hilarious entry from her sixth-grade diary in which she wrote about one day becoming Mrs. Timberlake.
"I know I will look at this and laugh at some point before marrying Justin Timberlake," she proclaimed at the time. "I know I will marry him, I can’t describe the feeling in words, I just know."
Turns out, fate had other plans for Ashley. She tied the knot with Jared in a gorgeous August 2019 wedding ceremony in Rhode Island, attended by "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" alums such as Kaitlyn Bristowe, Ben Higgins, Nick Viall, Evan Bass and Carly Waddell.
