Tia Booth Mourns Her Grandmother in Touching Post: 'My Sweet Angel in Heaven'
Tia Booth revealed on Monday that her grandmother has passed away.
The “Bachelor” Season 22 alum shared the sad news in an Instagram post dedicated to her beloved “Nanny.”
“My sweet angel on Earth is now my sweet angel in Heaven,” she wrote alongside a slide of pictures and videos, highlighting sweet memories with her grandmother.

Along with throwback photos, the touching post featured more recent moments — including a clip that appears to show Tia and her mother visiting Nanny at an assisted living facility, only able to wave hello through a window due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In that video, Tia shows her grandmother a tattoo she got in her honor that reads, “I love you, Nanny.”
The last slide in Tia’s post shows her hand interlocked with her grandmother’s. “It’s an indescribable heartache knowing we couldn’t be there during her last moments of life, but she went peacefully in her sleep,” Tia concluded. “My #1 girl forever-my Nanny.”
Over on her Stories, Tia opened up about the moment she found out that her grandmother died.
“I know this sounds absolutely insane, but I started this puzzle bc me and Nanny used to have one going all the time at her house and now it’s a stress reliever for me,” she wrote, sharing a photo of her puzzle. “I took & saved this photo around 9:45 pm to document that I finished the outside pieces. My mom called at 9:52 with the news.”
Tia added, “I swear it’s like Nanny waited for me to get these pieces together…selfless angel literally until death.”
It wasn’t long before Tia’s Bachelor Nation family shared their condolences in the comments section of her post about Nanny.
“Thinking about you babe. I am so sorry for this loss,” wrote JoJo Fletcher, while Lauren Burnham said, “So so sorry Tia.”
Added Raven Gates, “I love you. I’m so sorry. I wish Grandmothers lived forever.”
