Lesley Murphy Shows Off Growing Baby Bump, Is 'So Excited' for Motherhood
Yas, mama! Lesley Murphy, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Alex Kavanagh, headed over to Instagram on Tuesday show off her growing baby bump and update Bachelor Nation on her pregnancy.
“Week 31 today! Baby is the size of a bunch of asparagus or the head of romaine lettuce,” she captioned a series of mirror selfies, in which she is seen lovingly cradling her belly. “I’ve gained 26 lbs as of yesterday’s doc appt… and although it’s a sobering number, esp. with 9 more weeks to go, I know it’s normal (right?).”
The Bachelor Nation star — who competed for Sean Lowe’s heart on Season 17 of “The Bachelor” in 2013 — went on to say that she is thrilled for motherhood even if she doesn’t feel ready at times.
“I can’t and won’t pretend to know what I’m doing...we have nothing for the nursery yet,” she wrote. “And we’re about to dive into an online newborn course, but I’m so excited for what the future holds.”

Lesley announced in September that she was going to be a mom, sharing a black-and-white video on Instagram that showed her and Alex spending time together in their kitchen. As The Ronettes’ “Be My Baby” played, Lesley jumped down from the countertop to dance with the drone pilot before he bent down to kiss her baby bump.
“Started from the kitchen now we’re here,” she wrote alongside the sweet clip. “Baby Kavanagh taking flight in 2021! Finally someone to occupy the middle seat @drone.pilot and I couldn’t be more excited to grow our little family!!!”
The Arkansas-based couple — who got engaged in February after dating for more than a year — revealed in October that they are anticipating the arrival of a little girl in 2021. “Excited to announce … We’re having a BABY GIRL!!!!” Lesley wrote with an Instagram video post, in which the pair hold balloons that read “Oh baby” and “Baby girl” while the Temptations’ “My Girl” plays in the background. “This is how I surprised Alex that the future is female.”
