Peter Weber Announces Split from Kelley Flanagan: 'These Moments in Life Always Hurt'
Former Bachelor Peter Weber took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that he and girlfriend Kelley Flanagan have ended their relationship.
“Love is a funny thing. It can make you feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist. I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote in a lengthy post, accompanied by a photo of himself and Kelley embracing each other as they admire a stunning sunset from atop a hill.
“While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end,” the commercial pilot continued, expressing gratitude for his time spent with the gorgeous attorney.
“Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on,” he concluded. “These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together. Thank you Kelley.”

Peter and Kelley began dating this spring after meeting on Season 24 of “The Bachelor.” Prior to their split, the couple shared plans to move to New York City together. Just before Christmas, Peter revealed that he was “beyond excited” to take on the Big Apple with Kelley and shared what he loved most about her during a candid Instagram Q&A.
“My favorite thing about Kell is that she just has such a beautiful gift to be able to pull out the absolute best in whoever she’s around,” he gushed. “And it’s just so organic. She comes from such a place of love and it’s the reason why I love her so much.”
In the comments section of Peter’s post about his breakup with Kelley, his parents, Barb and Peter Weber Sr., offered words of encouragement.
“Love can be fickle and it is not for the timid. Those who have experienced it know it all too well,” they wrote. “But it is better to have loved and lost, than never too have loved at all. Our hearts ache for you two. Kelley will always have a piece of our hearts and we wish her only the best. Mom and Dad.”
