Peter Weber Gives Bachelor Nation a First Look Inside His NYC Apartment
He’s officially landed! Peter Weber headed over to Instagram on Tuesday night to give Bachelor Nation a first look inside his New York City apartment.
“So, a very successful first day in beautiful New York,” the former Bachelor said in a video posted to his Story. “I’ve been going all day. I think I cleaned out Bed Bath & Beyond.”
Peter then panned to all the boxes stacked throughout his pad. “I feel like [Tim Allen in] ‘The Santa Clause’ right now,” he joked. “When he gets all the letters for the first time from all the kids and they just keep delivering all these packages to his house and he doesn’t know what to do with them.”
Predicting how much time he’ll be spending unpacking his belongings, Peter added, “Yeah, it’s going to take a while!”
He then gave his followers a glimpse inside his bedroom, which features floor-to-ceiling windows and a gorgeous view of the city.
“But you guys are going to get a kick out of this. I have zero furniture right now. My sleeping quarters. Check this out. Boom! Tell me that’s not good for your back and your neck,” he said, pointing out a thin strip of foam he’s currently using as a mattress.
“It’s a good thing I’m a good sleeper,” the handsome Southern California native quipped.
Peter touched down in New York City just days after his ex-girlfriend Kelley Flanagan revealed that she still plans on moving to the Big Apple despite their recent split.
The former couple had originally planned to inhabit the concrete jungle together before Peter announced on New Year’s Eve that their relationship had come to an end. They began dating in the spring of 2020 after meeting on Season 24 of “The Bachelor.” The pair went on to spend a significant amount of time with each other as they quarantined at Kelley’s Chicago home during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March.
Although Peter will be flying solo on the East Coast, the move is still a dream come true for the 29-year-old. “I had actually made it a goal of mine when I turned 20 that I wanted to live in New York City before my 20s were up,” he has previously said. “And I’m just barely crossing it off the list!”
On Monday, Peter’s mother, Barb — a beloved Bachelor Nation figure who delighted fans with her tell-it-like-it-is approach to helping her son navigate his “Bachelor” journey — shared her enthusiasm at seeing him start a new chapter.
She wrote in an Instagram post, “So happy and excited for you to embark on all your new adventures in the BIG [Apple].”
