Arie Luyendyk Jr. Pens Sweet Letter to His Future Twins with Lauren Burnham
Can’t wait to meet them! Arie Luyendyk Jr. took to Instagram on Sunday to share a sweet letter he wrote to his future twin babies with wife Lauren Burnham.
The race car driver-turned-real estate developer shared a photo of Lauren showing off her pregnant belly at 16 weeks. “Today we went over to our friends house and your sister Alessi had the best time playing with their 2 little ones,” he wrote via the @luyendyktwins account, which already has more than 230,000 followers and counting. “Just made me think of how our house will be, the three of you running around laughing and playing.”
The beloved Bachelor Nation couple — who are already parents to daughter Alessi, 19 months — announced in December that they are expecting two bundles of joy after experiencing a heartbreaking miscarriage in May 2020.
“This week you’re each the size of an avocado and we read that you’ll be able to start hearing us soon!” Arie continued. “I’ll make sure to talk to you often and fill you in on what’s happening out here, every day is an adventure let me tell you.”
The soon-to-be dad of three then told his twins about how he and Lauren recently fostered a pregnant Yorkie and unexpectedly delivered her puppies moments after bringing her home.
“This week for example we are taking care of a little doggy and she gave birth to 5 puppies!” he wrote. “It’s good practice for Alessi and she’s learning more and more what it takes to be a big sister.”
The Season 22 Bachelor — who celebrated his two-year wedding anniversary with Lauren last week — concluded, “By the time you two are here she’ll take great care of you :) Okay well time for dinner and your Mom is HUNGRY, you two sure eat a lot in there! Xoxo, Dad.”
