Desiree Siegfried Celebrates 6 Years of Marriage with Husband Chris: 'A Beautiful Journey'
What Bachelor Nation dreams are made of. Desiree Siegfried honored six years of marriage with her husband, Chris Siegfried, in a touching Instagram post shared on Monday.
“SIX years WOW,” the former Bachelorette wrote alongside a stunning photo of herself posing with Chris on their wedding day. “What a beautiful journey we’ve been on since.”
Desiree continued, “Every day I thank God for you and our little family! I can’t wait to see where God takes us in the next six years! Love you babe so much! Always falling forward.”
The couple tied the knot in front of friends and family during an elegant winter ceremony in Palos Verdes, California. Desiree, a wedding dress designer by trade, wore one of her own bridal gowns while exchanging vows with the handsome mortgage broker.

As fans will recall, Desiree accepted a proposal from Chris during Season 9 of “The Bachelorette” in 2013. “You have been by my side from the very beginning,” Desiree told Chris during her final Rose Ceremony. “I thank you every day for never giving up. And you mean the absolute world to me. I love you. I love you so much.”
Chris, thrilled by her declaration of love, then responded by getting down on one knee. “You make me want to be a better person, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” he said. “I don’t want to make decisions for me anymore; I want to make decisions for you, and us, and our lives together.”
After becoming husband and wife, the pair — who reside in Portland, Oregon — welcomed a son named Asher in October 2016. In January 2019, Desiree and Chris expanded their brood with a second son named Zander.
