'Bachelor Happy Hour': Chelsea Dishes on the Dramatic Arrivals of Matt James’ New Contestants
Chelsea Vaughn stopped by “Bachelor Happy Hour” to chat with co-hosts Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin about her experience competing for Matt James’ heart on Season 25 of “The Bachelor.”
During her interview, the gorgeous model opened up about the shocking arrivals of Matt’s new contestants. As Bachelor Nation witnessed on Monday night’s episode, five dynamic women — including Brittany Galvin, Michelle Young, Ryan Claytor, Catalina Morales, and Kim Li — entered the fray, with four of them receiving a rose. (ICU nurse Kim was sent home.)
“When the new girls came, the first thing I thought was, ‘Wow, what a week to already have a rose,’” said Chelsea, who earned a rose from Matt after she and the handsome lead engaged in a meaningful conversation about Black hair during a group date.
“I was very, very happy that I had a rose at that time,” the Georgia native continued, adding that she purposely stayed out of the drama that took place between Matt’s original contestants and his additional suitresses. “I’m not somebody who tries to insert myself in drama.”
Chelsea elaborated, “I’m very much like, ‘Do you, I’m gonna worry about myself.’ They didn’t choose this. If they had chosen, they probably would’ve wanted to come at the same time as us. I had no issues with them. I can’t control it. I’m not going to be upset about it. I’m just going to try and focus on myself and my relationship with Matt.”
