Bachelor Matt James Breaks Down in Dramatic Fantasy Suites Teaser: Watch
The drama continues, Bachelor Nation!
Emotions run high as Matt James must choose between his final three women — Bri Springs, Michelle Young, and Rachael Kirkconnell — as seen in a teaser for next week’s anticipated Fantasy Suites episode of “The Bachelor” Season 25.
“These women are incredible. I’m about to make one of the most important decisions of my life. To find love, to find a wife, to leave this thing engaged, I don’t know what I’m going to do,” the handsome lead says in the clip.
Elsewhere, Matt’s finalists confess their feelings to the New York City-based real estate broker. “I will tell you that I am in love with you,” Michelle says, while Rachael states, “I’m head over heels for you.”
And, finally, Bri declares, “I am so in love with you.” Later, she reflects on the importance of this pivotal phase in her relationship with Matt. “This week is Fantasy Suites,” she says. “And I’m really excited to get to know Matt in a more intimate setting.”
Another moment sees Rachael sharing more of her heart with Matt. “Every time I see you, I can’t breathe,” the Georgia native tells him, before tearfully admitting to the camera that it’s difficult for her to think about his other relationships progressing: “I’m in love with Matt and he’s with another woman right now. This is torture. I can’t do this anymore.”
In a separate gut-wrenching scene, Matt reunites with his estranged father Manny James. “When I needed you, you weren’t there,” Matt tells his dad.
Manny, who split from Matt’s mother, Patty James, when the Bachelor was young, replies, “Do you know what I went through with your mom?”
After Matt says, “I don’t want you to make excuses,” Manny admits, “Nobody’s perfect, son.”
Matt’s mother also makes an appearance. “Feelings come and go,” Patty advises her son. “People fall in and out of love, and love is not the end-all be-all.”
Matt eventually breaks down in tears over the intense turn of events. “I feel like everything that I was working towards is just starting to crumble,” he says. “I don’t know how to go on. How do you go on from there?”
