With its clear azure water, white sand beaches, spice-rich cuisine, humming nightlife, and copious cultural institutions, Phuket has something for everyone. All these special aspects of the island come together to make it one of the most romantic destinations in the world. It’s a perfect place for a group of friends or a couple in love to get away from outside distractions and soak up the island’s natural beauty.

JoJo Fletcher traveled to Phuket on Season 12 of “The Bachelorette” and got engaged to Jordan Rodgers. Here’s how you can experience the island just like her. (The proposal part is up to you!)

These boats are still a popular mode of transportation and are easily recognizable from their large, distinct sails. Fun!

When you’re out on the water, check out one of Phuket’s most famous surrounding areas: Koh Hong and Phang Nga Bay. This bay is filled with limestone structures that serve as the perfect backdrop for a selfie that will make all your followers jealous or a special moment for just the two of you.

After boating and exploring, make your way back to the hotel and discuss your favorite parts of the day. Just like the limestone, your love will stand strong through years.

After a day on the water and exploring the nearby islands, take it easy and embrace the area’s natural wonders with some relaxation at the beach. Pack yourselves a picnic (don’t forget the bubbly!) and take in the scenery side-by-side on the pristine sand.
